Tidewater mansion Swift Coles House in Bon Secour, Alabama

we stumbled on this gem as we were driving the backroads of Bon Secour, Alabama near Orange Beach, Alabama. Bon Secour is a French name translated means Safe Harbour. It’s a wonderful little tidewater community on the eastern edge of Mobile Bay. Alot of history here, and the mansion may or may not have ghosts….now, The Rockman thinks it very well might! The original picket fence, shell walks are nostalgic and bring a recollection of days long passed. We didn’t happen to be there the official tour days, but we walked around and chatted with the Master Gardener working there who introduced me to persimmons and gave us some to try. They were different and tasty without being too sweet…
